Plans and billing
What plans do you offer, and what do they cost?
Monthly is $12 a month, billed monthly. Yearly is $96, billed once a year, which works out to $8 a month and saves $48 a year (4 months free). Both plans include unlimited downloads, personal and commercial use, the free Extended Commercial License and cancel-anytime terms. The yearly plan also includes priority email support and early access to new mockups.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly?
The price and billing period. Monthly costs $12 a month. Yearly costs $96, billed once for the year, which works out to $8 a month and saves $48 a year. Yearly also adds priority email support and early access to new mockups. The mockups and downloads you get are the same.
Is there a download limit?
No. Both plans include unlimited downloads for as long as your subscription is active.
How do I upgrade from monthly to yearly?
Cancel your current monthly plan and re-subscribe to the yearly plan.
How do payments work?
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and PayPal.
Does my subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account area.
Downloads and account
I can't download a mockup. What should I check?
Downloads need an active monthly or yearly subscription. If your subscription has expired, downloads stop working until you subscribe again. If you are subscribed and still can't download, contact support.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Open the Log in page and use the "Forgot password" option to reset it.
Where can I find my past downloads?
After you log in, click on your account and select "Download Center" from the list. If you have an active monthly or yearly subscription, you can see your past downloads there.
Can I try Pixpine before I subscribe?
Yes. You can use the free online editor with no sign-up. The editor gives you a watermarked preview; subscribers download clean, full-resolution files without the watermark.
I can't find the mockup I need. Can I request it?
Yes. Use the Request form on the site and tell us what you are looking for.
Cancelling and refunds
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like from your account area. If you still have trouble, contact support@pixpine.com.
What happens to my downloads when I cancel?
This applies to both monthly and yearly plans. After your subscription expires, your downloads are removed from the Download Center and downloading stops.
Can I still use the mockups I already downloaded after I cancel?
Yes. Files you have already downloaded stay yours to use under the license.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, in a few cases: the item is not as described, a technical problem could not be fixed, or you were charged twice. Please contact support first, it is the fastest way to get your refund. Opening a dispute with Stripe before contacting us slows it down.
Licenses and usage
Can I use the mockups for client and commercial work?
Yes. Free and premium mockups can both be used for personal and commercial projects. Full details are on the License page.
What is the Extended Commercial License?
It is included free with every download. It covers wider commercial use than the standard license, and you don't need to buy or request it separately. See the License page for the full terms.
Do I need to credit Pixpine for free mockups?
No. Free mockups don't require attribution. We appreciate it when you share Pixpine, but you don't have to.
Can I link to Pixpine mockups or share them?
Yes, you can link to free or paid mockups and share them with a backlink to pixpine.com. You may not redistribute or sell the files, or offer them through a direct download link.
Software and files
Which software do I need?
You can try a mockup without any software in the Pixpine Mockup Editor, which runs in your browser. If you prefer Photoshop, the layered PSD file (with smart objects, for Adobe Photoshop CC or later) is also available to download.
How do I use a mockup?
Every download includes a PDF help file, and the tutorial page on the site walks you through it.
